Buzzes ring out among a silent audience in a chilling white room too clean to be this perfect. Surrounded by white that makes it seem like an asylum many should find it odd, but many pay no attention to the odd color scheme. Instead, gazes are turned towards the match before them that has just ended by a one-point lead. Somehow, as one figure moves quickly across the room to the winners, each pays no mind to it.

The lithe brunette moves flawlessly among the desks that lined the room, should-length chocolate locks bouncing with her every step. She congratulates her team, hugging all members for making it to finals. Yes, they have moved forwards from last year as she laughs, mocha eyes sparkling. Although, as many scramble out the tight room to welcome the crisp, night air she stays. The scene is nothing out of the ordinary, her helping to remove their equipment to move to the next room for the final stage.

Yet, as the girl finishes to welcome the fresh air herself, she goes in a trance while walking and keeping a tight pace with her teammates. Eyes dimming, her face falls into a platonic stance, lips held tightly together as if glued and hands to her sides, moving only due to her walking. The teen has gone into her own world, where only the deepest secrets are held; where only she can think for herself.

The rush the year has brought was thrilling, she can agree with that. Going to the finals has brought the jitter back to her, moving up so quickly in the tiers she cannot think straight. Change has been happening fast, both good and bad throughout her year, but she cannot help but feel like it has happened all too quickly.

Academic Team started the beginning; she started separating from her friends; there was a Personal Project somewhere in between and now. . . Now one of her oldest friends are leaving in only two months. It’s too much to handle, she starts to give herself a headache at how much pain she’s had to handle. Pulsing rapidly increases like her heartbeat as if she was given some sort of steroids for a marathon. Luckily, their group has made it to somewhere she could sit.

As her brain subsides to the decreased thoughts about the changes that has happened throughout the year, she takes a moment to sort through her mind. First, her only extracurricular activity started again. It seemed simple enough, but this caused troubles. . . There was no dedication, no teamwork. There was a lack of everything, yet somehow they managed to get this far.

Then, there was the separation from some of her closest friends. Due to homework, school, Personal Project and her Academic Team there was little to no time to relax and talk to them. Her neurological senses starts to increase again, sending her mind into a flurry.

    IT’S NOT FAIR!

Her brain screams these lines over and over again as rage boils inside her heart. Why has changed been thrust upon her now? Why was this change just realized? Why was she losing her friend to some silly transfer? Why has Academic Team taken over her life? Why?
Suddenly, a hand reaches out to her, waving papers in front of her.

“You okay? We need you to help study. . .” The soothing voice calms her looking over to all her members with worried expressions on their face. Relaxing, she realizes that they need her now. Whatever happens in the future will be in the future, she needs to focus on the present. Change might be happening quickly, but she can still enjoy the most of it. Nodding, she takes the papers and studies, but not before letting out a small smile. She was back.
Hey!~ Back again and this time about the rapid change that's been thrust upon me. Hope you like it and read and review!
